I am considered obese and am 29weeks 3 days and have lost 9lbs so far. Baby is doing great and I have had no complications. My last baby weighed 9lbs at birth and I lost 30lbs during my pregnancy which again there were no complications except initially they saw some issues with his heart,  kidneys, and bowels in the initial ultrasound but subsequent ultrasounds showed he was perfect. My advice is to eat as healthy as you can and just dont "eat for two" as we really do not need to eat much more when pregnant. Just make healthy choices so your baby is getting as adequate nutrition. Good luck momma! Hope you have a smooth pregnancy

Im considered obese at 5'4" 268lbs. Im on my second complication free pregnancy, I'll be having a second c-section due to the size of my babies- last one was 9lb6oz. My doctors plan is for me not to gain any weight until the laat few weeks when baby really starts growing and so far so good, 26 weeks no weight gain!

I'm obese as well but 5ft even and I'm on my second back to back (c section) healthy pregnancy; however, due to weight, age 32, first time pregnancy and fibroids I was considered high risk with baby #1 and stayed sick with hyperemesis the entire time so I lost 83lbs from all of the vomiting and not being able to eat/keep anything down.  Also, by the time I hit 36 wks I went into premature labor and the ob stopped it so due to a bp that began escalating out of this world I was induced at 38 wksfor a c section  in which I healed perfect and fast with no complications (fibroid blocked birthing canal) . Baby and I were both healthy and she was born 5lbs2oz. In my current pregnancy(#2), I've been healthy but dealing with an entire pregnancy of hyperemesis again and so far I've lost 54lbs and my baby boy is healthy and on track; however, just last week I've began having issues with my bp dropping too low constantly so I'm a hair away from being put on bed (I'll be 34 wks on Thursday) which i pray doesnt happen because I have a demanding lil baby girl to deal with too. Nonetheless,  despite these horrible normal pregnancy symptoms baby and I are still healthy and thankful to God for always taking great care of us and giving me a great hubby that waits on us hand and foot when he gets off of work.

I wish you the best in your pregnancy and a super congrats to you. If you ever need any advice, have questions or just want to communicate with someone who understands "our life as super sized mommies " please feel free to contact me. Have a great day.

I'm a little over weight not bad tho. No complications. I actually lost 12 pounds in my first tri. And all together ive gains 9 pounds. I am 28 weeks pregnant. My doc said because I was a little over weight she thought there were gonna be some complications but she says everything just looks amazing. I'm actually making this plan for after baby is born that I will lose weight and grt healthy before I have another child. Good luck hun.
