I am the only one working as my husband just relocated to where my job is and he left his nice paying job to come where i am. We are managing on one income because we watch how we spend. He is protective so he wants to be near instead of out of state working.

We thought about how in the world would we make it, with prayer of course and him doing all the work we would pay others to do as well as we began couponing. It's a job in itself but within these past three months, we have enough stocked fort the first six monthsafter the baby arrives.  We also communicated allot and decided to started our own business with him running it  majority of the time so because he is a carpenter he is working with extra help to get things moving.

My best advice is to coupon and get diapers as well as everything else you need little by little so when the baby arrives I focus on bills and not bills plus baby needs. By the time they do a shower for us e will have had diapers from size 1-4, clothing, baby items that e got cheap like swing and crib, as week as toilet items, laundry soap, hand soap, lotion, as well as body wash and shampoo and conditioner.

You have six months to go, that's enough time to get prepared doing it a little at a time. I watched extreme coupon and found that they order from sites like wholecouponinserts and sundaycouponinserts when they liked a coupon. So when i see $2 off diapers i ordered 20 of then for barely 15 bucks. But it also helped with me being discounts on other items we wanted. So we spent 15-20 bucks and saved over 140 bucks on items needed.

cutemommy gives great advice.

What kind of dad does he want to be?

And if he refuses, I'd consider just making it on your own.  Because he chose pot over family. good luck

painful truth to ask him: whats more important? smoking your dope or taking carenof your kid? If he cant leave the dope alone long enough to get a decent job to support then tell him to kick rocks!

Tell your boyfriend to stop smoking and to man up and get a job. If he doesn't then you should kick him to the curb til he straightens up.....but until then you need to do what is best for you and baby. Seems like you will be the one supporting and taking care of you both. Have a back up plan....
