Papaya whitening soap safe during pregnancy

Is taking papaya whitening soap during pregnancy safe? For some reason my neck armpit and back of my neck are all turning dark for some reason

how much longer do you have until the baby is born? can you live with it until then? i'm pretty sure that after you have your baby, the discoloration and dark spots will fade and/or go back to their pre-pregnancy coloring. i'm sure you're not that into it right now but it will probably go away in a few months on its own.

I'm finding mixed answers online... some say no and some say it's ok.  Better ask your doctor!  I would be hesitant to use it given the chemicals needed to whiten the skin (natural or not).
