Thanks everybody! The last time I went, I told my doctor I was having the pains and she checked but I wasn't dilated yet! Hopefully she comes soon cause I'm getting impatient and this pain is killing me!

I'm only 6wks and I'm experiencing pelvic pain. I don't go for my first visit until the 3rd of Jan. I'm miserable. Can't sleep or get comfortable. My heating pad has become my best friend. But man...the pain. Please give me some advice...or some drugs...just kidding...I needed to laugh through this....

Its pelvic girdle pain or SPD its caused by your pelvis opening I've had it since week 24 and I'm now 38 weeks I use a maternity belt for it when I mentioned it to the nurse at a check up she referred me to a physio therapist I was there among other women who had what I had. Also this is my 2nd pregnancy and I never once experienced it and I carrying my little boy. So its not something every women gets as my mam had nine and never once had it. Therapist also said if you experience it in one pregnancy your more likely to in another pregnancy. As I said I only got it with this one.x

You are not alone. My doc gave me flexeril and told me to use a heating pad. Also, warm baths are great.

Get an exercise ball. I was having the same problem and it was the cheaper option than going to physical therapy, which is what my doctor suggested. The ball worked and was only $10 at Wal-Mart. Plus, I can use it postpartum to get back in shape.

I'm in the same boat girl! Mines been happening off and on since second trimester but has really kicked my butt now that I've hit that 30 week mark. Being almost 33 weeks now it hurts bad and at times I've got to stop what I'm doing to ketch my breath b/c it knocks the wind out of me
