My son had a two vessel cord, I'm not sure about the kidneys. With a 2 vessel cord the concern can be that they don't get the nutrition they need and can either grow slowly or stop growing all together. My son was born at 10.7, so as you can see the 2 vessel cord had absolutely no effect on my little/big guy lol. I did have to be monitored quite closely, I went for ultrasounds multiple times threw out my third trimester, and also had to do weekly stress tests to make sure everything was ok. I know that a lot of stuff can either have no effect or can fix itself before baby is born, so don't stress to much. I hope everything is ok with your little bubs.
