Please answer.  I have a dog who turns 2 in February.  We got him when I was about 3 months is been 2 months now he's starting to snap and show his teeth at me when I yell at him.. I know the difference in smiling and not (my rottweiler used to smile)  I'm really debating on keeping him due to the baby... I don't want him biting the  baby when he decides to come

Yeah I do to.  He says he's training but not really.  He's sweet and gentle during day at night its a complete 180. He's mean  and snaps

I don't understand. You think your dog came from an abusive family yet your bf will kick the sh*t out of your dog if he doesn't listen? Some people would consider that animal cruelty and I have to agree. Just give up the dog to a good home hopefully to owners who know how to treat one well

He. Its a boy dog. And he knows my partner is leader he listen to him if not he get the **** kicked out of him. I just I dunno if I can trust him around the baby. Im always the one taking care of him. Fedding him walking ect. We knew he came from abusive back round but hes switched.. I dont thibk hes jelous due to not really getting and showing him about the baby. We got him after we found out I was expecting. I told my husband if he keps it up hes gone im not going to risk my child health

Train your dog or take a class hopefully he changes but I would honestly give him away just because it's probably not safe for the baby

I don't think your dog should be put down... Try being more strict when he does that. When my dog doesn't listen or is being mean, I talk to her in a stern voice and tell her to stop being a bad girl, if she does not listen, I put her in the crate and leave her there for a little. She has stopped being such a brat compared to how she was before. She's a lovely dog. I think she's just a little jealous now, biy it will be better

May sound harsh but if you love him you should get him put down.. it would be terrible to rehome a dog that you know is showing signs of aggression for it to attack someone elses child :( sometimes dogs just turn its not your fault its just nature

And yes most dogs will protect your baby but this dog is showing bad signs and at the moment cannot be trusted

Training dogs is what i did for a living pre my son. If this dog is showing aggression towards you you cannot trust it with your baby. It sounds to me like the dog thinks the pecking order is you'r hubby then it then you. This is not a good thing and if you wish to keep the dog you not your partner needs to address this behaviour.

May sound crazy but I thought dogs are actually great with babies once they hence their scent. Sometimes they'll protect the baby

If he is showing signs of aggression then u can't trust him with you'r baby
