Living in a city full of people I wish I had more friends that have children. I would love to have play dates and sleepovers for the kids and just some mommy chat . Where's are the mommies in NYC! Lol

I don't think the groups are full - it appears the classes are,  though.  The website seems a little buggy.  You have to go to the link,  and scroll down to this:

Then click on "new moms groups" and about half way down it says "still expecting" and the groups still appear to have space.  Anyway,  the woman who runs the website seems very open to newcomers - you could email her and find out!

My biggest problem as a mommy is that I am a drip when it comes to playdates and sleepovers.  It's so much work, to set them up, prep the house, do the snacks, and be entertaining since they sometimes run out of stuff to do to entertain themselves.  More power to you if you like doing it!  I remember the days when I was a kid when we all ran around the cul-de-sac and in and out of each other's houses.  The moms were around, but busy with their own stuff.  Wish those days were now.  LOL
