Please help! Should I take my 1 year old to the ER tonight?

My son (16 months old) has had a fever going up and down between 101.3 F & 103.8 F for a little over 24 hours now. I have been giving him a fever reducer every four hours but it's not keeping his temp down.. It will go down to 100 or 101 for maybe 2 hours at the most then go back up to 102 or 103. With it being the weekend his doctors office is closed but will be open in the morning for me to call and bring him in.. Or do you all think I should take him to the ER tonight instead of waiting til the morning?

Baby should be fine. Give ibuprofen  every 6-8 hrs in addition to Tylenol every 4-6 hrs. Hospital doesn't consider it a fever until it's over 103. They will just administer fever reducer and keep you there until temp drops under 103. They will give liquids too. Everything you can do at home. They have these cool packs that stick on the forehead to reduce fevers you can buy at Walmart or any drug store. You can cut them to size. Other than that try cool baths and freeze pops
