What is the effect of caffeine on your baby? I have drank coffee throughout my entire pregnancy and the doctors seem to believe my baby is strong and healthier than most. But I'd love to know the medical effects of caffeine on a fetus...
Low birth weight can be one side effect
I really think it matters HOW MUCH caffeine you are consuming daily? You are allowed to have a certain amount per day that is considered safe (believe its two cups of coffee a day)
You can search peer reviewed medical journals, I don't know the effects, I've refrained from drinking coffee even though mu doctor says that 2 12oz cups, won't hurt baby and is okay to have.
