Midwife

Anyone have any experience with a midwife? This is my first pregnancy and I've been accepted to receive a midwife. I'm excited and nervous at the same time

I had an incredible experience with my midwife. She was so awesome. Very gentle and mothering. It was with my first munchkin, too. The only problem I had, which I'm sure you could find a solution for, was my son never got his hearing tested. They do that at the hospital. So we had no idea, till he was 5 years old, that he was totally deaf in his right ear.
Hope this helps a bit.

I'm 24 weeks and due my 3rd visit with the midwife on Wednesday. Here in the UK a midwife is a god send. I've had to make one or two phonecalls and no matter how stupid you feel asking those questions you will always get great advice.

Here in the UK we only deal with midwives care while pregnant… im not saying you cant go to our local doctors if we worrird about anything but thats what midwives are put in place for… we have teams of 6 midwifes which we get to know throughout our pregnancies!
