Preterm labor

Im 31 weeks and 3 days and today I was told i was having mild preturm labor. They didnt give me anything to stop the contractions. Just a shot for the babies lungs. Told me not to work out anymore, and to take it easy but compelety on bed rest..just dont over do it.
My question is if anyone has had this happen and make it to at least 36 weeks or above.

My other question is they told us not to have intercorse. Does that mean for me not to orgasm or just to avoid the intercorse.
I know thats the least of my worries but this pregnancy has made me extra horny so i just wanted to know.

Yeah i am for sure listening to the no sex. I just didnt know if fooling around in other ways and having an orgasm with just the clit was ok or not. Because i know intercourse means sex. Lol but its not a big deal either way just want to be safe

I was put on those restrictions at 34 weeks for the same thing. I was told nothing goes in the vagina because it could trigger further dialating. So listen to the doc on no sex and rest as much as possible. You want baby to bake as long as possible even with that shot to minimize complications. Good luck!

I had a 25 week preemie my first time around.  Now I'm 14 weeks and have been told no sexual contact (since the beginning,  UGH!).  A woman's orgasm causes uterine contractions which I'm sure your doctors want to avoid now.

This happened to me at 32 weeks on my last pregnancy I also got shot to develop baby's lungs and made it to 39 weeks when I was induced due to diabetes I was on complete bed rest from 32 weeks and no intercourse whatsoever

I also have not had Intercourse since 33 weeks so no Intercourse please

It happen to me at 33 weeks they didn't give me anything at all. I just drank a lot of water to keep down the contractions I'm still working and going about my daily routine.. I'm now 37+5 still at 1cm and doing ok just relax everything will turn out fine

Hope you make it through at 34 weeks its considered ok. But take the drs orders serious. No intercouse means nothing sexual at all. Good luck.
