I am 32 weeks and 4 days and my baby is 3 pounds 9 ounces . I have to come in every week twice a week for ultra sounds and non stress tests will everything b okay ?

Okay thanks this is my first baby i was just worried i dont want anything happening but im takeing a NON stress test to make sure the baby is not under any distress

I think it sounds like you're doing everything you should be and wouldn't worry too much :) I believe everything will turn out just fine. Just eat lots of fruits and veggies and other healthy foods, take prenatal vitamins and drink lots of water. Your baby will come out happy and healthy :)

I have not been able to put on weight.  I only had to have monthly ultrasounds.  I did not start going to the doctor weekly until the normal 36 weeks.  I had a stress test last week and this due to them deciding last week I would be induced this weekend. I would not worry as the baby should be fine.

they checked to see was the imbilical cord was doing what its suppose to do and they said everything was fine they said it could just be genitic but my baby father side of the family does deliver 5 pound babys  so that might b it

Yeah im only 32 weeks and 4days . Was you going to doctor every week also and i gained 20 pounds since ive been prgnant and what did you eat to gain and tgey said they recommend me getting induced at 37 weeks but if he pick up wait 39

When my sister was getting close to full term they were concerned about my niece's weight. However in my family a 5lb baby is fairly common. It might help to check family history and see what a common birth weight is, small babies could run in yours as well. On a less positive note (sorry) the umbilical cord may not be delivering enough nutrients and the baby could be malnourished. If your doctor is concerned about that they usually suggest induction or a c-section prior to your due date to start feeding the baby to get nutrients in and weight up. I hope this helps!

I am being induced Saturday due to my daughter being small. I am 38 and 4. When I was that far along that is about what she weighed.  At my 30 week she was 4 pounds 6 ounces. At my 9 month she was 5 ponds 14 ounces. She will be a small baby but everything should be fine. Don't stress.  Just eat healthy and do what you can to put on some weight. I have only gained 7 pounds.
