OK awesome thank you. I'm hoping the wait won't be to long since I have a scheduled appointment but even if it is its my last one of the day so I suppose it's alright
I'm on WIC and it's great! They have a lactation consultant that you can meet with whenever you please, mine is really nice. Your first appointment can be about 30 minutes long because of introduction but that doesn't count the time you wait because it is a government run program you could be waiting awhile.
OK thank you that sounds like a good program. How long should I expect to be there?
Its a good program they will provide you with things you will need throughout your pregnancy you will be attending classes such as learing how to birth, breastfeeding, etc you will also receive valchers every month for food like veggies, fruits, milk, cheese, beans, juice, just things thats healthy to eat its not a long process at all you will get everything the same day
WIC stants for women infant children. It is a goverment funded buisness and helps with food stamps, baby check ups, formula, things like that.
*supplies not pesticides.
WIC is an income based program that pesticides supplemental food to pregnant/breastfeeding mom's, infant and children. If you qualify income wise they'll check your height, weight, and iron and speak with a nutritionist. They'll give you vouchers or a card (depending on your state) with the benefits you can use.
