Quire proud of myself..

My complete budget as a single mother will be 1200 bucks.  So far, I've got the monitor and Trend EZ Bounce, towels, wash clothes, bottles, nipples, outfits, mitties, booties, pacis, shampoo and picking crib up in a few hours.  Next month I'll be getting more stuff like, stroller / car seat combo and crib mattress, sterilizer set and personal care items.  ( dispersed prevention cream, baby body wash, small bath )

I just wish the father would start buying some stuff.

I paid my rent, bills til July so I could do this.  The way I see it is if I don't take care of it no one else will.

Not complaining but it seems I'm the only one who cares and so pride myself in being a good person that takes care of their own life.

Anyone else buying your own stuff.  ( New or used)
I'm buying new stuff because the father whines that our baby only deserves the best.  I wanted gently used stuff for money saving.

I tried telling him that there are used stores for this very reason.   All he said was my daughter isn't a bum.  But really I'm the only one working, saving and buying. He promised this,  he promised that but was let go from work.  Not complaining here but I'm the only on putting my needs on hold and to make it worst my hours were cut due to doctors orders and I'm still paying my own way, I still support my 4 other children and buy 100% of groceries.

I just don't like to fight/argue.  The moment I can't pay bills due to mat leave he can blame himself and not me.

Rant over as I know that some of the women here hate complainers.

You go momma! I say if he's not buying it he can suck it up. I don't know why people think there is something wrong with second hand. Except like car seats and cribs of course because of all the recalls. I love thrift stores! You can find some great stuff there!
