Ranting..

Everyones saying i'm selfish for not putting my babies fathers name on the birth certificate. But don't know a thing about what I'm going through. I ASKED my babies father if i should sign his name as well on all my babies papers. He simply said no. I'm a teenager,  i wasnt expecting to get pregnant at 16. But he actually did it on purpose without my
knowledge. The same day i found out i was expecting i was beaten by him. All because i didnt want to be with him. And now he doesnt want anything to do with my baby. But i am VERY excited for my baby to come. And with or without child support my baby and i WILL be okay. Im usually not the one that explains myself. But people should really speak what they know

Just know that with child support comes rights. He can have visitation, gets holidays, birthdays, you have to petition the court to move out of the county (in most cases), say he never pays child support, you still have to let him see your baby. If he's abusive to you, what makes you think something won't happen to your baby when it's alone with him? Child support helps, but everything that comes with it in your case wouldn't be worth it.

Thanks! I'm thinking about just completely blocking him from everything that has to do with my baby. But he DID get me pregnant on purpose, without my knowledge so i think child support will be the LEAST he can do :)

I had my oldest when I was 16... I did put his father on he birth certificate but he was there... with my second though I did not and am so glad I didn't. Yeah I don't get child support which *****, but.. I don't have to worry about his trying I get visitation or anything because he would first have to prove paternity and that's too much work for him. good luck. do what makes you happy and what's best for baby.

Its ok to be selfish and trash talk the father of your child.  It doesn't matter what age you are.

I commend you for asking him. I wouldn't have gone that far. Hit me and its done! You have ever right not to put his name on the birth certificate. He doesn't want to be a father so he doesn't get the honor of being recognized as one.
Keep the positive attitude and you and your child will be fine. Good luck!

F*ck him girl!
My son's father isn't on the birth certificate because at the hospital he had a panic attack and screamed the baby wasn't his. Even though he said
"If that baby comes out with red hair you know he's mine!"
And BAM my son was born with bright red hair!!

No skin off my nose and my son is a happy healthy three year old who loves everything and has no issues due to his POS dad.
I had my first as a teen and it was hard but I did it!
You got this girl!!
