I understand why gettin rid of your dogs are hard because you've raised them & become attached to them, they become your kids as well. I have a best friend who has a dog tht she considers her 1st born & her actual daughter as her 2nd child. As well as myself, I have 3 dogs tht I call my kids because I raised them from babies now tht I'm pregnant, mason is considered my 4th. As far as the ppl with negative cmnts, y'all should jst leave this post.
Im not telling you to get rid of your dogs, but, im am pregnant with my second baby and i had two dogs, circumstances all pointed to me getting rid of my sweet pit bull, and after months of not wanting to, i did. It was very sad. I cried a lot. My daughter still asks for him. But hey, we have a place to live and our situation is easier now. I wish you luck and pray the path you choose takes you where you want to be! :)
didnt you just get a new dog yesterday?
Whether you pay bills or not you don't own the.house so you have no say. Its like renting an appartment. You pay.fir everything but in the end you landlady says if pets are aloud.
And you are clearly considering shelter. Which I don't see how that is putting ur baby first.
I clearly stated on my post that getting rid of my pets was not option. I want answers not speechs. I pay bills here just as much as they do and I feel like I have a say so. Especially if they have no valid reason to be asking me to leave. Therefore, all comments about "unusual" for me picking my pets over my child or me being negligent will be ignored. I'm not choosing my pets over my daughter. That's over the top. But if I can't find a valid reason to let my pets go, because, yes, some of us DO love our pets entirely makes it difficult then I won't. I've rescued animals for years. So I have a soft spot.
