I did mine like mom429. People will pick and choose what they can afford. My in laws and my mom bought mainly our big iteams. I think my husband's grandma will pick the swing.
I put everything from diapers to strollers ....doesn't matter the price if people can't afford expensive things they will buy the lower prices items....I had a couple of friends and aunts go in together on big gifts like strollers and car seats. I would use ur registry as a checklist of what you need/want.
Youre welcome! its so much fun! I loved registry shopping! :)
Thank you that helped a lot!
I always say put anything you would like that is at a reasonable price-- when people shop for someones baby shower, very rarely do they get you the expensive things- I leave the big items for family like your mother or mother in law. Thats what mine did anyways. I would say no items that are more than $50 just because no one will buy you something super expensive unless its a family member. For me, I put the things I needed & then just made a list separate for my mom & mother in law of the Big things i needed like a swing, pack n play, car seat/stroller. Anything First aid is a big plus! saves you a trip on your own if someone buys it for you in advance. medicine, clothes, bath things, nursery items. Have fun! :)
