SHOWER INVITATIONS???

I had someone create a custom invitation I wanted but I had no idea what size to get. At 1st we were going with 3.5x5 because we could get 4 to sheet & they were VERY affordable. But after looking over it, that size seems WAY too small for everything we have on the invite. We decided on 5x7 but I am not happy with the price. What size did you guys get?

I'm getting 5×7 but I'm just buying the pdf and printing them at an office max. It's 12 for the image on etsy and it will be like $0.60 for 2 and I need like 50 so like 22 dollars and I got envisions from an art store for like nothing I think 2 dollars.

Thanks! I'll definitely look into it. That was a thought as well, photo paper is just as good. The cheapest quote I've gotten so far now was $17 for 40, but I would mich rather get 100 for $10. Lol

@Cinday34 It's not so much serious, but some of us like nice things. (Not saying invites from party city or other stores aren't good) I'd just prefer custom everything! Lol hate being like other people

@princeshawnsmom I messaged you!  I literally just received an email from Walgreens with a coupon for 9 cents a print when you get 75 or more in size 4×6

Thanks everyone! Walgreens seems like a great idea. I was given a price of $35 for 40 & was thrown back. Wish there was an Ollies because that's sounds the best. Does printing at walgreens come in cardstock for those $10-15 prices?

And regular price would have been 20 which is still good for 100.. I printed them on photo paper not card and they look exactly the same lol

5×7 are expensive.. I got them 4×6 at Walgreens and I paid 10 dollars for 100. I had to order online though bc the coupon was online only.. check them out maybe they still have it

@APRILMAY24 makes a really great point!! The smaller and flatter the envelope, the better the shipping cost. ..I definitely learned that expensive lesson with wedding invites...lol...never again.

Congrats on baby. Im not certain on whether or not you have an ollie's store in your area, but, they carry beautiful pricey looking invitations in all sizes that are customizable and have practice print cards and they are closeout deals so they are $4.99 for 50. These are the same boxed invatations of 50 for $38.99+ that I've seen online, at Michael's, target, etc. I just bought a few boxes and they came with the seal, envelope,  ribbons, print cards, decorative tags 3d buttons to attach after printing and the practice print cards all for 50 invites@  $4.99/bx. If it's not too late, you may wanna investigate them to see what they have for shower invites. Best wishes, congrats again and good luck with everything.

I'd go as small as possible because the bigger the more it costs to send them in the mail.

Thanks for the walgreens idea! Mine are going the long way as well, but idk about 4 to a sheet. I have not only all the details about the event & registry,  but her expecting date & a little riddle at the top.
