Scabies!

So I went to see a total of 6 doctors and it was confirmed that I have scabies. Which I still have no clue how I got it. When none of my family got it or even my husband don't have it. They prescribed me permethrin cream and is safe for pregnancy. Other dr prescribed me triamcinolone acetonide and hydroxyzine hcl. Are those two safe for pregnancy?  I mean I look it up and some say it not safe for pregnancy.

Triamcinolone is safe I also have scabbies and use it daily. My dr stated that the hormones cause different reactions in people. Hang in there the scabbies will go away just try your best not to scratch so much. Gluck.

I caught it from a baby. So did my entire household. I'm not sure about the cream prescribed. Check around jus to be safe.

I agree that you probably got it from a public restroom because my niece got it when she was only 2..

I have had scabies before and we determined I got it was from a public toilet. I was only 14 when I got it and not sexually active and there had been a few other cases with only one area restaurant in common between them. Not sure about the medications but it's definitely possible for you to have gotten it from a public bathroom.

I don't know about the medication (would ask your OB to be safe) but I think you can get it from a public restroom. It's commonly passed sexualy but if someone has it bad enough it can be passed thru simple first and second degrees of contact.
