Is Aspartame REALLY safe?!?
I just read this whole column written by a doctor who says aspartame causes birth defects & shouldn't be ingested during pregnancy or if breast feeding!! Is this true? Everything else I've read said it's completely safe...

I've drunk diet coke (which has it in) for 11 years. My 4 year old turned out just fine so I wouldn't worry about it
From what I've read about it, its safe to use in moderation. I wouldn't worry too much about it. There's alot of things we use/drink/eat all the time that COULD cause alot of problems, but usually doesn't.
