Seafood

Hello ladies. Has anyone else been eating seafood? I had crab legs, salmon, shrimp, oysters and sushi so far. Everything was cooked. I was wondering if I am the only one who eats seafood. What are some of your experiences?

It's more the rice in sushi that is dangerous as it contains bacteria, as long as it's super fresh it shouldn't be a problem

Yeah you're correct. I've been avoiding Tuna altogether because of the risks. I don't normally eat the other kinds stated so I should be ok lol

I think the big caution is fatty ocean fishes and high mercury levels (shark swordfish tuna mackerel etc). And also undercooked or raw which could have parasites or bacteria (sushi.) A little doesn't hurt.. I think i heard less than 12 oz a week total, except tuna which should max out at 6oz a week.

I've been eating crab, shrimp, oysters, and tilapia. All cooked. I try not to eat it more than once or occassionally twice a week. Everything going well so far.
