Severe Acne!! Help Please!!

This is my first time being pregnant. I never had pimples previous to my pregnancy, maybe one breakout here and there. I am 14 weeks and have horrible acne on my face, chest and shoulders. Please help! I've been washing my face twice daily and moisturizing as well. I also have been experiencing really dry skin. please let me know of any products I should try.

Im the exact same, never had any spots all my life as all i drink is water and now im covered in them! I just went to the chemist and bought "acnecide" its £10 but absolutely worth it ive used it for two days and my spots have dried up completely, i also have extremely dry and flakey skin but you have to be careful with moisturisers as the oil in moisturisers will cause breakouts and the spot treatment will dry you up so they wont work together, you should use a combination mosituriser or two seperate moisturisers on different areas because as i say the mosituriser wont be helping your spots and the treatment wont work if your caking it back on top of the treatment, but acnecide defo worked for me id highly recommend it (and my doctor approved aswell)

My acne didn't settle down until a few weeks after my second trimester started. Natural ways: steaming face, bentonite masks, yogurt masks, avocado masks, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, tea tree oil (debatable), eating more fresh/frozen fruits and vegetables

You can have your Dr prescribe something as well. Facials are great too.

I don't even wear moisturizer now technically and my skin was dry. I use a foaming cleanser morning and night. I get it nice and foamy on my face for about 30 seconds then gently scrub with a face towel or silicon scrubber for 30 secs or so

Morning: tea tree oil, hyaluronic acid/ vitamin c serum (takes place of my moisturizer)

Night: tea tree oil, glycolic acid

I also take in lots of vitamin c from fruit like tangerines and kiwis daily. Lots of berries as well. Increasing probiotics might help too

Hope you find something that works and/or your hormones balance out
