I went to my specialist yesterday and got an u/s. The doctor asked me if I had taken the test for down syndrom which I did and it came back as low risk. She went on and said my baby seemed to have short long bones which could be a sign of down syndrom, but since my test showed low risk she didn't believe that was the case. She added that it could be that something was wrong with the way she was growing. I didn't know what to say every scan I have had to this point have shown a healthy baby girl and now (34 weeks) they are telling me my baby seems to be 3 weeks behind on her long bones I feel like I'm worrying for something that could potentially be nothing to worry about in the end, but I'm afraid. Have any of you ladies had this experience???
