Anytime I have a stressful day I try to go to the gym and have exercise. It's not everyone's cup of tea. I find myself confiding in hubby a lot. He's so good at listening, drives me nuts most days but he knows that when I'm venting, that I'm not venting about him.
Sometimes it helps to write it all down before bed, that way you sort of get it out your system and can get a good nights rest.
