Drink lots of water and get your vitamins A, C, E and zinc. Also, Palmers cocoa butter and mama mio tummy rub several times per day...and give your belly a mini massage every time you put lotions on to relax fibers and increase circulation. I have done this everyday since 5 weeks and so far none. I also recently bought flawless tummy belly bandit for extra support for my growing belly.
If it is in your genes you cant prevent it :( but using the above can help diminish the look. Hopefully it is not in your genes and wont get them!
I used the palmer's cocoa butter stuff but it didn't do anything. I have pretty bad stretchmarks and the only thing that has helped has been Victoria Secret's Deep Conditioning Body Butter. I ordered some bio oil since I've heard great things about it, so I'm hoping that will help! I also read that there's nothing that can be done to avoid stretchmarks, so I hope you're lucky enough to never get them! Good luck!
Thanks girlss :) I appreciate it for the help
I went to a local natural grocers and they recommended mother's special blend with almond oil, coconut oil, mineral oil and vitamin e... It helps with stretch marks and itchy belly
I just purchased the massage bar from LUSH which contains cocoa and shea butter. It is amazing!
I've been using Palmer's cocoa butter cream & got no stretch marks up to now. I started from about 10 weeks & I'm now 29 weeks. But they do say to apply more regularly as your body/bump grows ;-)
I've been using Bio oil since my 2nd trimester and I'm 30 weeks now. I haven't got any stretch marks yet but I've still got a lot of growing to do! But I like it so far, leaves my skin feeling really soft!
also avoid scratching your stomach if it does. coconut oil is a great moisturizer.
coconut on damp skin. i'm using it for my baby's skin.
Coco butter *****! I used bio oil and j have non accept on my boobs and the bio oil made them fade really quick :)
