So I just found out that my fiancé's sister has TB... And I visited with her in December. She had it then and was not on medication as she refuses to take her medicine in general. Do I need to be screened for TB? I haven't had any contact with her face to face since December, but she does still have TB. Is this something I need to be concerned with? I'm worried and the last time I had a TB skin test was Fall of 2013 and it was negative then.

Someone needs to report her to the health department she is putting everyone at risk. Get tested TB is so contagious and can be deadly for children , elderly, pregnant and people who are already sick

She is definitely a risk...my brother died two years ago after contracting it off someone at his job. It is so contagious we werent even allowed to dress him for his tangi (funeral) the coroner just wrapped him in a platsic bag put him in his coffin and we had to have a closed coffin.

She is a risk to anyone around her. I would advise a tb skin test, as well as you and hubby staying away from her. She may need to be reported to the health department, TB is no joke. They can go to her house and make sure she is at least taking her medicine daily.
