Tear duct?

So I just had my Lil guy a week ago and he has what's called a tear duct any of you already mom's gone thru this and what helped your new born?

I meant to put blocked tear duct. I've been massaging his eye. Just hope it goes away fast:/

My first was like that they told me to massage between the nose and eye like the top. I did it every chance I could and my son was like that for 3 months just make sure you keep the Area clean with a warm cloth. Good luck with it hope ur baby gets better

Everyone has tear ducts.  Specifically, did the doc say what was wrong with your baby's?  Is it blocked?  Infected?

Prescribed the ointment. Its kinda like vasaline but im not a dr. Im not saying to use that. Just hope it will get better for him. Maybe just keep rubbing it a few mins at time. A few times a day. Good luck!

I went to his Dr. But she just told me to massage it with a warm cloth. And it's not really doing much :/

Yes. My first born had that problem. Its that his eyes arent producing enough water. I took my son to his dr. And she prescibed me some ointment which I had to apply in the corners of his eyes not directly on the eye, and also told me to rub is nose in between his eyes. Hope this helps#
