Telling your employer

When and how did you tell your employer that you were expecting.....and what was there reactions? ????

I think I was about 4 months along when I told my supervisor at a janitorial company.  They were not very excited.  Lol

I had to right away but I was handling some dangerous stuff... He just looked and said he was transferring me to a different area, away from venomous animals lol.

Well since I am my employer...I said "Girl you pregnant!" Lol

I told my employer right away, she gave me a high five and has been super supportive.

I told hmy boss right away. 1 I was puking Non stop. 2 may/June is our busiest months. I was hoping to be pro active and figure out what we were gonna do.

My boss is never really please when anyone gets pregnant. ....because she is always worried about staffing after during maternity leave. ...she even went to extreme length of hiring women who were NOT in there childbearing years

I told my employer two weeks ago by turning in a weight restriction from my doctor because my supervisor tried making me bail a trash compactor.

I told her at 9 weeks.  She was very excited.

When i had to ask for a day off to see the doctor (about 2 months). She was surprised but then so was everybody. My bosses have been okay but then they pretty much have to be.

I called in sick cause i had a migraine. My boss pulled me into the office and said its not like me to get migraines. So i told her i was pregnant. She was excited and told my other boss. They have been very supportive
