I'm pretty sure he's the father. The other man always used condoms. He couldn't care less about this baby. If it doesn't come out his, he'd be happy. I figured I'd try anyway. Looking @ the answers for the court, I might not go that route. I was thinking about buying a test from CVS.
Where I live if u do it through the courts and he is the father hell be on child support and the child would have his last name no questions asked. I am getting a rest even though there's no doubt in my mind or his but he's childish so for future references we are. And the sell them at CVS and I know they are no more than 200. Buying the kit is cheap but sending it off is where most of the cost is. And depending how strongly u believe he's the father that would make my decision on inviting him. Because yes that is hurtful. And hurtful for u as well.
Don't do it while you're pregnant. They have to sick a needle thru your stomach and that could kill the baby
Where i live i believe court order is $40, and i dont believe its a fee at the hospital. At home test are about $120.00
You shouldn't have a man at the hospital unless you know forsure he's the dad because that's hurtful if he's not just my thoughts
I've read that if its done in court that if he is the father he will have to pay for it and court costs & if he's not then the mother will have to pay for it but I'm not 100% sure.
I live in Tennessee, they told my baby daddy it would be 1,650 while I'm pregnant & 600 after baby is born. U can do it court ordered, don't know the cost, u can also buy ur own at a drug store sorry don't know the cost
@britt_mica Hmmm... would wanting it @ the court cost anything? I'd just tell them I want a test, & they'd schedule an appointment?
@KelseyK1027 I hope so. I heard they're expensive, though.
The hospital usually asks if you want one before the man signing the birth certificate.
You can do a court order one if he doesn't want to do it the day of the birth.
