Ultra sound question

One of my close friends just recently found out she's pregnant she had no signs, symptoms and missed periods was normal for her she's took several pregnancy test and they all came back negative except this last one i had her to take. she just a few Weeks ahead of me I'm 14. I'm really worried about her and the baby. I'm taking her to her first appointment tomorrow will they do a ultra sound to check on the baby to make sure it's okay

Yes.  The OB will do a ultra sound on her because she is already 15/16 weeks. Should be able to hear heartbeat.  They'll probably draw blood too.

I had my NT ultrasound at 14 weeks.  I don't  know if she's out of the time frame for that.

Most importantly as a friend, remind her to take her prenatal vitamins so she gets her nutrients and folic acid. And if she she smokes or drinks, help her to stop.

I had one done on the second visit in i was only 6 weeks. They had to make sure everything was in the right place n attached right. We even got a heartbeat. On my first visit i did the urine test n blood work and the awww congrats thing they do! They just went over basic things to do and not do. Good luck tho. If she is that far along she should b on her 2nd ultrasound she is already in the 2nd trimester!

So with her being around 15 16 weeks she should be able to. I know it's really not my business worrying so much but she don't have a support system and i know if that was me I'd be scared to death

My OB said that ultrasounds earlier than 9-10 weeks are uncommon unless you are unsure of the conception date.
