This also happened to me we were soo dissapointed because we were just ready to start getting baby things for our little peanut.. The printout pic the tech gave us we can't even figure out what part of baby it is and to top it off he didn't even get measurements done so doctor ordered me to get another one done this time i requested a different tech since we are paying out of pocket it is only fair that we get them done right

She never asked if you wanted to know either? That's weird. If she isn't a good Dr, switch if you can. Some drs are bad, or just plain a holes, switch to someone hopefully better based on reviews.

Depends on the package you choose, most start at $50. Try googling ultrasound places in your area and check out their pricing on their websites :)!

If there is a college or specialty school near you that offers sonographer courses you can volunteer yourself to have an ultrasound done on you. I did this with both my previous pregnancies at Virginia College. It's free and they give you a few print outs! I already knew my babies' genders each time I went but they confirmed it each time! You could also go to one of those ultrasound places and pay for a portrait package or get a DVD of your ultrasound they perform. Good luck!
