Ultrasound

Im 36 weeks today
Do I have another ultrasound prior to my delivery date?

I'm having one today at 36+5wks but only because I have gestational diabetes and they want to check the size of the baby to see if I'm able to vbac

They can feel the outside of your belly and when they check your cervix they should be able to feel the baby's fontanelle. There is also a big difference on the feeling of babies butt ha ha

Yeah they can feel the position through your belly. I've had 2 ultrasounds since my 20 week one but that's only because I'm diabetic. Normally my hospital has the last one at 20 weeks.

They can determine by pushing on you belly to see what position the baby is in.

How do they determine the baby is breech is no other US is done? (Might be a silly question)

In MN insurance only pays for 1 regular ultra sound. I would check with insurance snd your doctor. It can be very diffrent from place to place.
