Unprotected Sex During Pregnancy

So, I was told something today that I think I already knew the answer to and just kind of laughed to myself. I was asked today if my husband and I have sex still now that I'm pregnant, I said occasionally, but majority of the time it hurts. I was also asked if we used condoms and I said sometimes. I was also told to use condoms every single time or don't have sex at all during my pregnancy because the sperm will go up and kill the baby, eating the placenta and taking all the nutrients from the baby.... I thought to myself, um, this is a bit ridiculous... In order for the sperm to get into the uterus is for it to cross the cervix, which I don't think is possible at this point... So really, is it a problem to have unprotected sex during pregnancy?

The thing I find funny is that these people who told me this are 36 year old first time parents... I also find it funny that I am only 20 and know that this isn't possible.
