Before I was pregnant I vaped instead of smoking, with nicotine. I was wondering if it was okay to vape with no nicotine while pregnant?

My dr approved vaping even with nicotine bc I was using 18 MG of nicotine and a single cig has 55 MG of nicotine so she said it wouldn't affect the baby like real cigs would and she considered it safe

I'd say no, but if you really wanna do it talk to your doctor.

I wouldn't. While vaping is much safer than cigarettes it's still not healthy for you. I also doubt studies have been done on the effects of vaping during pregnancy there could easily be unknown dangers to your baby.

So if ur vaping with NO nicotine, what would u actually be inhaling? I do know however that nicotine during pregnancy is considered a category D by the FDA and will increase ur risk of many complications.
