Varicose vein??

Ok ladies, I'm going to be blunt about this. I am 22 weeks and today I noticed that half of my vagina was swollen (the outside, one lip basically) and feels raw to the touch.. My mom said it may be a varicose vein but I am not sure. It's almost impossible to get a hold of my Dr so I haven't talked to a health professional yet. I have no diseases either so it's not some sort of std. I just would like to know if any of you have had this and what I should do about it?

I have this too. The left side is swollen but not the right. It looks like a monster lol. For me I have heaviness and soreness. And it hurts to roll over at night when I'm trying to sleep. I'm hoping it all goes away after baby ;)

I'm 33 wks 5 days. I have them as well. I asked my Ob and they are varicose veins. Talking about scared when I first felt them. If you get a mirror, you can actually see them. Weird right?! Comes from the pressure of the baby. They will subside once we deliver.

Mine started to swell and slowly get bigger when I was around 23 weeks. Everything just gets puffy and very tender. My doctor said it was normal from all of the extra blood flow and pressure from the baby. I'm 34 weeks now and it hasn't gotten any better, if anything I've gotten more sensitive.

My vagina is swollen really bad and I have bulging veins as well. It hurts like the dickens down there. I also have SPD so. I know how you feel but, I think its just par for the course.

Hey, I'm 23 weeks, I to have noticed I've got some bulging veins in that area. I'm assuming it's from the extra weight and pressure. Haven't talked to dr about it but I would think when we're on the pot do business to hurry and get off, since sitting to long on it applies more pressure in that region. Sorry I couldn't help you....hope it gets better :-)
