I agree, don't rush into anything. I know you're anxious to meet him/her and probably want your body back to normal as well. But remember that a due date is just an estimated day and not exact. In fact only 4% of women deliver on their due dates. But to naturally speed your contractions try going for walks in the park every day and going up and down stairs. Semen also helps your cervix soften so have a couple rounds of sexy time with your partner lol

Get your membranes stripped (causes bleeding) walk have sex (can be uncomfortable but causes contractions) bounce on an exercise ball and I've been told certain foods help but didn't personally try any of those. I did all of that when I was pregnant with my daughter and delivered her on her due date, but the membranes were stripped two days before hand.

Keep waiting patiently. There is absolutely no reason to jump straight to surgical delivery just because you're past your due date. Induction can even wait for a couple more weeks. Nobody should be trying to rush you into anything. Keep your stress levels down. Go do something nice for yourself - get a haircut, see a movie, go out for a nice meal. Keep your mind off it. Your body is on its own schedule. If your doctor tries to push you to set a date, tell then you're perfectly happy to wait until baby says it's time. It's safer for both of you that way.

Hi there.  It's hard when our due date comes and goes.  My baby was 10 days (yes TEN) late.  Had him naturally, no c section.  :>)  there all sorts of home remedies that people try but I didn't personally.  I thought it was best to let nature take its course unless under doctors supervision.

Enjoy your last bit of time before it is all about baby.  good luck
