I am going  through the same thing between bloating and feeling like I was starving I've gained almost 45lbs, I lost two pounds working on getting it under control, started walking and just cutting down on portion size. Now my ob just wanted me to maintain till I have the baby. Good luck!

I have gained 31 pounds I am 36 weeks my doctor said that if you start at the lower side of the BMI which is my case then it's normal for you to gain more weight she said not to worry to much about it and just enjoy it after all we only have a few weeks left. You can work on your body once that baby us out.

Almost 33 weeks here. Since I hit week 31 my weight gained has increased alot. I will gain 3 lbs every 2 weeks. My doctor hasn't mentioned anything about it to me. I eat the same as I was throughout my whole pregnancy. I go to the gym & walk so no idea where its coming from Lol. I started out as 153 by the way I'm tall 5'9 I was slender. Now onto my 33 weeks & I weigh 189.. Yikes... With my first pregnancy I gained between 50-60 lbs. I guess with each pregnancy I will gain this much. After baby the first time it took me 5 months to lose all my baby weight. Dobt stress too much abt it. After baby is out you can work on yourself. Now the baby needs the proteins && vitamins. & we do need to cave into our cravings sometime :)

Don't beat yourself up. Depending on your prebaby weight 45lbs does not seem to be way too much. If your dr is concerned I would make my diet with ONLY whole food sources (veggies, fruit, quality meat, things that are natural and unprocessed), otherwise eat your pizza but just make sure to drink 2 glasses of water and a big salad with a light dressing before you do. I figure in these last few weeks just enjoy your pregnancy. But I would recommend getting calories from whole food sources. Try cutting out sugar, salt and eliminate or reduce white flour and white rice. And make sure you get atleast 10 servings of veggies a day. Your baby needs extra calories these last few weeks because they are rapidly putting on weight. Good luck:)

Stop the pizza (-: Eat fiber filled foods apples, salad greens, vegies. Shoot for 30 grams fiber a day. Drink more water! Concentrate on eating a serving of protien with a serving of fiber. Do not eat fast food or carbohydrates. Cut back on salt.
