For baby most hospitals provide everything u need while there. But I did use my own big soft blanket For her, and pacifiers and socks. I packed a couple outfits For her and used them But They were not necessary Because The hospital provided sleep sacks and baby shirts. For myself I packed a few little comfy dresses, T-shirt and sweat pants and pajamas. Only Because I was worried about bleeding through stuff and being uncomfortable in my hospital gown. So packing more Then an outfit to go home in Is optional of course. I got a little travel kit That came with a mini shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste and a comb.
What I packed in my hospital bag was an outfit to go home in because if you take more outfits to put them in the nurses end up taking it off because babies are going to do these tests and they get checked every now and then. I packed a blanket for baby. Your hospital pretty much provides you with diapers and wipes a hat and receiving blanket. I packed a lot honestly but I ended up using only the outfit to go home
