What to pack

Mommas: if you could bring one thing for labor/delivery what would it be?

Is there anything a FTM should think about bringing? Anything you wish you had brought to the hospital?

Of course you bf or husband can stay with you. My husband had a bed and they provided him with blankets and very meal with me plus snack like popsicles sandwiches cookies etc. I had my son early and I was double guessing this hospital but gotta say i had a great experience

It completely depends on the hospital. Some hospitals dad can't stay past visiting hours, which is usually 10pm. Unless of course your still in labor or baby was just born. Some hospitals don't provide a sleeping area for a visitor but there are no visiting hour rules. And then some hospitals like the one I had my son at provide a cot/small bed for someone to sleep on. I'm not to sure about sharing a bad, I'm not sure they allow that but I've never asked. I don't know how there would be enough room for 2 people either. You'll want to talk to your doctor or the hospital to see what rules they have.

The only thing I forgot last time was blankets. I was freezing and all my husband had to cover up with was his jacket. I won't be forgetting those this time!

I brought a pair of comfy maternity underwear, maternity pants, a loose shirt, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, tooth brush, phone charger, diapers, wipes, blankets and a few outfits for my daughter. The pads you wear are huge...like belly button to full butt crack coverage so I'm glad I brought supportive underwear and pants. They give you mesh underwear but they slip down and don't hold layers very well
