When should I start putting in job application s?

I am a high risk and had to quit my job 12 weeks into my pregnancy. But I will need a form of income once he is born and I have recovered. When would be the best time to start putting in an application? I cant just say, "Oh in four months I need a job," most people wouldn't accept that. But I will need one as soon as I recover.

Thats what im doing. Going to do online class training for medical billing and coding and hoping to find a job working from home by the time baby is here. Good luck.

I believe it depends on your profession, education, trade, or skills. If you had to quit at 12 weeks, you are still a long way off....are there any on-line classes you can take or professional training on line you can complete while home? May help you feel like your still moving forward towards a new job....You probably won't be able to go back to work for 4 weeks min. post birth to couple of months. Think you should wait til baby comes to start putting in apps however; Do start researching different companies and jobs and see what you can do now in prep for being a great applicant in future for desired position
