I had no BH and never felt a contraction until the day I delivered my first--at 40 +4.  Don't worry about it. When labor starts you will definitely know.  I'm 30 wks with my second and again, no BH and no contractions.

I had Braxton hicks from 36 weeks until the end. It was bad cramping in my uterus and it felt as if the muscles in my back, abdomen and uterus were all having spasms. I felt very nauseous and short of breath. It was pretty scary because I had never felt that kind of pitching and pain ever before. I notified my dr. Asap and she said it's completely normal to just rest and drink lots of water. Also some women never have Braxton hicks or feel the contractions it's all circumstancial. Every women and every pregnancy is different so don't worry if you don't have them lol think of it as one less thing you have to worry bout! Good luck and enjoy the last few weeks of pregnancy ;) the beautiful new chapter of your life will be here before you know it!

Not everyone gets the Braxton hicks. But they are early just a tightening of your muscles
