Wisdom tooth removal

I'm 10 weeks and 6 days pregnant and I've been having problems with my wisdom tooth. I've been in pain for almost a week and I really want it removed. Is it safe to get it removed right now or would I have to wait?

Safer to wait until after you have the baby.

My doctor had approved mine to be removed, with instructions to the dentist office of the method and medicine that was safe to be used. Had mine done around 10 weeks as well and all went well.

I guess its different in some places. Someone else just told me to wait til my 2nd trimester because the anesthesia can cause the baby's heart to stop and I would have a miscarriage

Your doctor will have to approve it. I had mine removed at 8 wks 4 days and I'm now 10wks 4 days and its just now closing up good.

It suggests that you don't have any surgeries like that until your third trimester

Mine is cutting into my jaw and has it swollen. I know it needs to be surgically removed
I had my impacted wisdom tooth removed while I was pregnant they just used local anesthetic shots and I was fine it didn't bother me in fact I had my second one removed while pregnant with my second child too.
