Work

So me and my baby's father had an argument because i didn't go to work last night. He said that i should've went because i have a baby on the way which idk why he's worried about the baby now because he hasn't been too excited about her anyway. And i feel like i should've went after i called off i regretted it because i do have a baby on the way. But I'm 7 months in and last night my body was sooo tired. I don't miss work too many times. I go to work everyday. I work night shift at a warehouse and i stand and walk all night on concrete floors, I'm a packer so i left heavy boxes filled with mental ALL NIGHT. And it's not like everyone don't know I'm pregnant because they do they just don't care. I'm around chemicals all night. It's extremely hot in there to the point where at times i find it difficult to breathe. I literally have to drink water all night in order to make it through the night. I'm not complaining because that's my job I'm just explaining so that yall could get an understanding of what i go through. The other night at work was really rough for me. I must've lifted 15 boxes. I barely had time to use the restroom because i had so much work to do and didn't want to fall behind. I'm kind of nervous about going to work tonight because i don't have an excuse. What do i tell my supervisor when he ask me why i didn't come?

Agreed being pregnant is a full time job when I felt like calling in sick for work my child's father would agree and say dnt go so that's the only good thing he had goin for himself but I still went anyways lol he literally had to force me to go on my leave early this was suppose to be my last week of work til my schedule c section next Wednesday but last week we had to go to labor and delivery due to contractions really close I was dehydrated and my body needed rest and I had to work that afternoon when we left the hospital in the morning I was gonna go but he really put his foot down and said no take your leave a week early so now I'm home bored until my date my job always understood though because there were like 7 of us pregnant in there lol they respected that we may not always be able to do certain things I work at home depot so I'm kinda in the same boat as you with your job I'm not a cashier my job was to climb ladders pack things down boxes and all clean up be around the chemical and all that dust especially in the construction area for people who do that all that dust was over there and that's where the bathroom and break room was sl I had no choice but to pass it all the time and I was on my feet all the time smh so I know how you feel hun

The fact of the matter is why your baby father dont take his butt to work. Being pregnant is a full time job alone. Man dont understand unless the shoe was on the other foot. Im a cna and my husband was understanding when i told him i couldnt do it anymore, he was supportive of me quiting my job and  supporting the household full time till after i have my baby. Im 32 weeks now. And i cant wait to have my baby and go back to work. As far as your work, if your boss cant understand your temp handicapped due to pregnancy then i would be looking for a new job. If i worked at your job pregnant i would have fainted along time ago. good luck girly.

Don't feel guilty for not going to work and most certainly do not let that guy make you feel bad. Just tell your supervisor that you just did not feel good AT ALL and that's why you didn't show up.
