Worried & stressed

I am 25 weeks pregnant. Before my pregnany I had been on anxiety meds since I was 16... I am now 24... I have been feeling particularly anxious the past 2 weeks and woke the past 2 nights just worrying about the fact of giving birth and what if I am not good enough to be a mother... I had panic attacks before for years but havent got one for maybe 2 years but I feel the anxiety creeping back up again when I am in public places... How can I help myser without meds? I am starting yoga tonight so I heard that's good. I am just worried I will have pnd and wont bond with my baby even though I love him so much already... I just feel so overwhelmed and stressed !! :(( can anyone help me with suggestions please? Ps.. It's my first baby

I have the same problem Hun and I was able to take meds while pregnant. They only limit you to so many due to the fact it can harm the baby. They gave me ones that I  could take while being pregnant. Maybe talk to your Dr or someone and see if they can help. Good luck Hun and just know your not alone.

I too am in the same boat. Except I refused to be on any meds as a teen & adult.  So I have learned to just cope with my illness.  But still yet you never know when a panic attack will come along. It just happeneds and it's scary when it does. I am 25 and still learning of ways to deal. With my first pregnancy,  my life situation was not the best, found my self over stressing about things I had to let just happened.  With my second I was fine. Until the morning of going into get induced,  tried sleeping,  couldn't.. found my self going into a full blown attack,  throwing up, mind racing,  shaking  the fear of labor and all the "what ifs..  so I went for a walk. "Walking and deep breathing to clear my mind I'ds a good way of redusing the attak until it's gone "  and this is my third.  So take some long walks, listen to music,  talk to ppl around you. Hope all is well!

Try going to a local homeopathy store. They have natural alternatives to medications and they work just as well in my opinion x
