Young Pregnant Women

So I'm going to the doctor todat to confirm what I believe is already validated, I'm pregnant. I'll be 22 in a month and although this was unexpected I'm excited yet a little nervous actually I'm quite nervous of what others might say including my family. I'm still in school I have a year a half left. I live with my boyfriend and he is very successful and a hard worker. I feel like this may be one more disappointment for my dad esspecially. Any advice ? How do young pregnant women deal with the negativity?

I was 18 when I found out about my first son and my family was kinda upset at first, but once I got further along and especially after my son was born my family was so excited. My mom and dad love my son and love beingg grandparents. Your family will love you and support you usually even if they don't agree with your lifestyles or decisions. Now I'm on my second baby and even tho I was planning to go back to school and finish my degree, which didn't happen yet due to bed rest, they are still happy for me. Good luck!

I'm only 16 still going to highschool. It was just as much as a shock to me as it was to my parents, at first they were very disappointed which I completely understand but even in my situation after a few months my parents even my dad realized even though I'm young and its going to be a huge learning process, a life is a blessing and they are so supportive now. Family love is unconditional so don't worry:)congratulations

I'm 20 and thought my dad would be upset but after the initial shock he is now really excited to be a grandpa! Don't be afraid! It isn't going to change the fact that you're gonna be a mommy!
