So my hubby and I had a few names on our list for our little girl. I am usually one for very classic names but my hubby found this one and I actually kind of like it. What are your opinions on the name Zaira Victoria (pronounced zy-rah). I know its our baby so we can name her what we'd like, but just trying to get a general idea of what people think of the name (since I haven't really heard it before)

My friends little girl is pronounced the same way but spelled Zarah like Sarah but with the Z . I love names that are uncommon . it sounds great but you will know how it fits when you see her. Good luck

Jcrump23 the thing is it's not a weird spelling. That's the traditional Italian/Arabic way to spell it.

When I read it, I said "zare-a". I do like it, but be ready for ppl saying it wrong.

I like the name, but the spelling doesn't really indicate the pronunciation you have.  Maybe consider the spelling of it so that every new person who reads her name tag doesn't call her Sara with a Z.
