I'm in a similar situation. I am an RN in a busy urgent care/ER and although I'm only 8w4d, I often wonder how I am going to tell the director of nursing. She can be a jerk too. We are expected to function at tip top shape and efficiency regardless. With my last pregnancy, she started trying to get me back to work at 6 weeks postpartum. Luckily my doctor friends made me multiple notes for me to take the full 12 weeks. This time around, it doesn't make me any less apprehensive about telling her. I kinda just plan to wait until I can't hide it anymore lol. Childish I know but hey, gotta get them bills paid and my kids fed.
