Lol just ask your doctor. There's different beliefs and different answers its always better to ask
your doctor just so you can get an accurate answer or so. You'll only continue to get different results here.

It's SO much easier to do the math in weeks.  Pregnancy is hard,  and moms want to count months way ahead of when they are actually complete.

Most docs do weeks because it's more precise and accurate,  and everyone agrees on weeks.

Months have 4.5 weeks in them,  except February.

That's why pregnancy is 40 weeks,  which is 9 months.  

You are almost 4 months along,  at 17 weeks.  

When you reach 4 months along,  which will be at 18 weeks,  you will then "begin" your 5th month.  The same way a running in a 5 mile race "begins" the fifth mile after passing the 4 mile marker.  They haven't run 5 miles,  they have "begun" the 5th mile after the 4th is complete.

At 22.5 weeks you will be 5 months pregnant.

Actually doctors would only count it as 4 months because they do not counting the first month in my pregnancy book from my ob it says at 17 weeks you are four months

You're in month 5. There's 4 weeks in every month. So 17 divided by 4 is 4.25 so you are 1 week into your 5th month
