am i crazy?

so im starting school . & im going to bring pepper spray im nine months.  & so much stuff that goes on , im scarred i might get jumped in the bathroom or walking the block (really bad school) in this generation people dont respect if Your pregnant or not ! so am i crazy for bringing it? my mom says to have a pen in my hand just in case but i couldnt imagine hurting someone like that i rather use the pepper spray in an emergency

I see nothing wrong with that, just check your local laws and college guidelines to make sure you aren't susceptible to any penalties for having it.... I am the same way you are though, I live in a really good area, but when I go running/jogging through the woods I always have a knife on me... As a female being alone it's normal to want to protect yourself.
