tips for baby shower

I know most people dont pkan and throw their own baby shower but I m getting my hrs cut at wrk and my baby father is not part of my pregnancy and my family is paying for it and they help me when I need it. I feel bad I cant really contribute to it financially and dont want them to spend a lot of money.  Im having it at a community center nov 2nd , how do I go about doing it on a budget with decorations and food for at least 30 people?

I got all of my ideas on the website Pinterest, just make an account (free) and start looking. They give you ideas how to make do it yourself decorations, etc. I suggest looking on there!

I would get all decoration, paper plates and such at a dollar store. They do have some cute stuff. For the food I would make it pot luck and ask everyone to bring a dish to share. Or you could do like a taco bar. You provide the meat, and ask people to bring toppings and condiments.
